Precision Setups

With the aim of putting your instrument in its optimal state of playability, comfort and overall performance, a Precision Setup includes the following treatments:

• string change
• string height and radius adjustment (action)
• truss rod and relief adjustment
• nut action adjustment
• pickup height adjustment
• tuning and intonation set
• electronics checked
• body cleaned
• fret board cleaned and conditioned

Fretwork

Fret condition is crucial to how an instrument plays.  Remedies for common problems include:

• fret leveling/crowning/polishing to correct worn, raised and otherwise uneven frets that buzz

• fret end dressing to relieve sharp fret ends that can make an instrument extremely unpleasant (if not painful) to play

• complete re-fretting when frets have reached their lower limit and can no longer be leveled and crowned

Structural Repairs

•  crack repairs to acoustic tops, backs and sides. Cracks are closed and stabilized so as not to grow
• brace repair to loose or cracked braces inside bodies
• bridge repair for bridges which have lifted away from the body or sustained damage, re-setting or replacement is in order
• neck resets to correct improper neck angle leading to excessive string height
• neck/headstock break repair
• binding repair

Modifications & Upgrades

Customize your stock instrument with upgraded components, including:

• bone nuts and saddles custom carved and fit to your instrument
